Royal Blood

9:30 Club, Washington, DC - May 19, 2022

This was my forth time seeing Royal Blood, the third time at 9:30 Club and the time before this at The Anthem opening for Queens Of The Stone Age. For just having two guys in the band (they had a hired on keyboard player this tour as well) they really do have a full sound. I’m already looking forward to my fifth time seeing them. Taken with my Canon G7x Mark ii. I few weeks before this show I requested photo passes for a number of IMP venue shows and this is the 4th or 5th IMP venue show I’ve been to since the requests and I still haven’t heard back from them. I get a little pissed at them every time I’m shooting with my pocket camera and they have only 1 or 2 photographers in the pit for a show. Seems like a waste.
