Maggie Rose

The Wharf Floating Stage, Washington, DC - July 1, 2022

I really loved the Maggie Rose show at Rams Head On Stage two nights before, so I went to see a free concert kicking off the 4th of July weekend in DC with her as the headliner. There are a few concert venues on the Wharf in DC, The Anthem, Union Stage, and The Anthem, but this show was on a float stage docked to a pier on the Wharf. It was a really fun show and I got a chance to speak with Maggie and her father after the show. This shot was taken around sunset. In the early pictures from this show the sky is washed out from too much light but here it gets a dramatic blue and really adds to the pose. When Jammin Java used to do outside concerts this was the time of the evening I was looking to take the most pictures.
