Lez Zeppelin

The Hamilton, Washington, DC - June 25, 2022

This was the second of two nights in a row I saw Lez Zeppelin, the first was at Elevation 27 in VA Beach. I really liked that venue and had free reign in front of the rail for the length of the show which resulted in the most pictures I’ve ever taken of a single act. This second night was at The Hamilton in DC which I like as well. In this case there was no rail to be able to walk the width of the stage and line up shots, so I planted myself next to the keyboards and planned to shoot from there until after the first keyboard song, Trampled Under Foot, to try to get some shots of Joan playing the keyboards. It’s a harder shot than you would think since the stage is usually high and therefore the keyboard blocks some of the shot including the hands. In this case the stage was low, so I thought I had a good shot at good shots. Taken with my Canon EOS R.
