Clare Bowen

The Birchmere, Alexandria, VA - July 30, 2019

So there are a couple of things that I’ll probably repeat myself about in picture descriptions on here; 1) I am a big fan of both the city and show Nashville; and 2) my favorite lighting of any venue is at The Birchmere. For the show I loved all of the artists on it but especially Clare Bowen and Chip Esten. I’ll get to Chip on his post. Clare has one of the most beautiful voices I can think of. One of those I could listen to her sing the phone book type of voices. So when she announced a tour in 2019 and the DC area show was at The Birchemere I was all in. Got the meet & greet for the show and not only is Clare as lovely in person as I expected her to be, but both her husband Brandon Robert Young and her brother Timothy Bowen were great as well. I have tickets, the VIP package, and a photo pass to her 2021 show in Washington, DC. Honestly I hope that holds true of every tour she has after this as well.
